Live a Naked Life

I cannot die in this world without doing something to better it. If I brought absolutely nothing to contribute to society, than there was unquestionably no purpose for my existence.

People constantly do not take all the advantage in their life time. I feel utter hatred for the people I know, who continuously talk about how their life is hell, and about how no one understands them. I am sorry to say his, but did they not wake up today. Did they not have the realization that just the fact that their alive is a blessing? That they woke up disease free, and able to face a new day. I even sometimes forget how blessed I am to have all my limbs, to have working eyes, or to able to talk. These are what I take for granted that people would give up everything they have in life for.

Today, roaming around the internet, I found a story about how Selena Gomez visiting this terminally sick fan at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. Her name is Hana.

As I stared at the girl, I was at a lost for words. My mind went roaming in thoughts of “Why would this happen to a little girl?” or “What can I do to help”. After about five minutes of thinking, I could not help but to pour out my tears on my laptop. I cannot believe that she has to go through constant torment and medical tests every single day just so that she can probably live up to the life span of thirteen.

The worst thing about her story id that there are many people like here who have terminal illnesses that will cause them to not see life past thirteen. And that it seems like if you don’t have money, you cannot do something. The horrible truth is that sometimes you cannot. And as I looked in this child’s eyes, I could not believe. I saw happiness.

She smiled.

This caused me to have a realization on how ungrateful society is. People wake up every day, grumpy because they have to go to school early. It’s a miracle that this girl lived up to thirteen, but yet she still has a smile on her face. How dare people complain about their lives, when a terminally ill child can smile about theirs?

This article inspired me, so if you would love to be inspired as well than go on this link:

State of the Union: Child Labor Laws

Something really disturbing is happening in our country when a man has the ability to stand in front of the American Nation, in which is going through an economic depression and say “Really poor children in really poor neighborhoods have no habits of working and nobody around them who works’ to earn money-‘unless it’s illegal.’”. I am no politician, nor am I running for the republican candidate; however I am aware that this quote is probably shooting the candidate in the face that said it.

Newt Gingrich; the man of the hour.

The buzz around his tone toward child labor has been spreading faster than the speed of light. How can we vote for someone that says that we need to fire “Overpaid janitors’ ‘in New York City and replacing them with poor school children’”? Would that not create an even more separation between social classes? Would that not diminish a middle class, and just create socio- economic hierarchy? That my fellow associates, would create a society where the jobs of lower class are predetermined, and they will constantly stay there. Maybe no one has ever told Mr.Gingrich, but the idea of socio inequality and adolescent employment is overrated. It already was an idea, one that has failed dreadfully.

Let me refer back to the Industrial Revolution. An era where the status quo was that children working continuously for over ten hours getting horrific wages was not only ethical, but morally sound. Gingrichs’ words reminds me of this era, since he believes that the “earlier you work the better”. According to his argument, it is just fantastic that children, who are not of age, who probably cannot go home by themselves on the train, can work in “soot-filled factories and sweatshops instead of going to school”. Later on, in 1938 congress created the Labor Standards Act during the great depression. The purpose of this act was to set hours, wages, and how working conditions should be for minors who are working. It is proven that Gingrich disagrees with this law. What sense is behind him disagreeing?

Who knows?

In a sense Gingrich is also targeting minorities. In using the word “poor” in his statement on child labor laws, it can be inferred that he is referring to children of poor backgrounds and life’s. I do not know how society can live with a candidate who has this sort of mindset. It is quite a quandary. I also think to myself with themes like: Will this affect my neighborhood or life? Who knows? Well, will it affect yours?

Why write? And for that matter Blog?

Why write a blog? What’s the purpose of doing something that people might not even listen to? Well if that’s the case, what’s the purpose to life? Nobody thinks it’s fun anymore to talk when no one is listening.

Sometimes the most sagacious knowledge is never seen. But then what then, do you just give up or stop. As a child, when your mom keeps ignoring you, what do you do? Keep talking that’s the purpose in life. To keep talking when no one is listing, to scream in the night time when everyone is sleeping, or to just keep talking to no one, because sooner or later someone will eventually hear you. That’s the point, you will be heard, so when I ask the question, why make a blog when probably no one will read this, and I might be talking to myself. Well, it is because eventually with all the sardonic and absolute non sencesical things I might say, someone will read it, some strange person will somehow find this blog on Google, and then I will be heard. It is going to feel like, when I was screaming in the nighttime, there was this one random civilian looking out the window and agreeing with me. I may not have seen this person, and I probably will never even know this person, but the point is, is that I was heard, somebody listened to me, and that means the world to me, so every time I write something I am going to have the intention that just like how I was screaming n the Night time, they’ll be some random people seeing me.
